Ensures quality of code within team. Evaluates trade-offs and effectively prioritizes tasks within team in alignment with strategic initiatives and company goals. · Takes ownership of their technical solutions. Identifies opportunities to help teammates in achieving team goals. Adapts message and sets appropriate context for a diverse technical audience ( product, design, engineering ). Initiates conversations to get the support/clarity necessary to carry out a task. Identifies appropriate form of communication given the specific situation. Participates in the hiring process, and delivers clear and concise feedback on candidates. · Liaison with UX, QE and release engineering team to ensure quality product is delivered to customers. Perform other job-related duties as requested. *Minimum Requirements:* · Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent education and work experience. At least four (4) years of experience developing web applications. · At least 3 years of experience with web technologies: JavaScript, React, XHTML, CSS. PREFERRED: MS degrees in Computer Science or related field. Experience scaling solutions, demonstrating a mindset of "scalability". Working with a cross-disciplinary team of designers, product managers and software engineers. *Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:* Proof of eligibility to work in the United States. *Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:* · Ability to translate designs, wireframes and written requirements into functional systems. Proficient understanding of code visioning tools. · Ability to effectively lead a small team through all phases of analysis, design, and testing. In-depth understanding of JavaScript, the DOM, and relevant concepts. · Proficiency with browser based debugging and performance testing. Understanding of progressive web apps. Experience in custom, maintainable, scalable, and responsive front-end architecture. · UX/UI experience with prototyping software and designer handoffs (i.e. Sketch, InVision). · You are a creative problem solver, able to contribute simple solutions to complex challenges.
