The Lead Platform Engineer is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the team that independently provides support, primarily in the areas of electronic trading & clearing applications in the customer facing environments. The candidate must have solid knowledge of application deployment/configuration, advanced Linux/Windows background and Java support experience to assist the team w/ support initiatives, to maintain & improve execution environment stability & reliability. Principal Accountabilities: · · 5+ years industry experience in DevSecOps architecture related to Continuous Integration/Delivery solutions & Platform Automation · - Contribute to the vision, strategy, and drive execution for integrated security controls across Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) on a 24/7 team environment. - Drive, design and build the next generation of PaaS platform end to end and across multiple layers of architecture - Acting as the technical subject matter expert: Mentoring fellow engineers, demonstrating technical expertise, and leading a small team solving problems - Experience with DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Git, Ansible, CHEF in a cloud environment - Strong experience with Ruby, Perl, Python ( Any one of them) - Balance of strategic and tactical skills and the ability to work on cross-functional teams - Experience working independently, as well as in a team environment, proactively driving initiatives and tasks while meeting agreed delivery timelines - Strong understanding on configuration management - Understanding of current and emerging technologies - Ability to provide effective and timely solutions - Excellent oral and written communication skills Thanks...
