Role: Systems Architect (BITS-02-10753) Location: Albany NY Client: State of NY Exp: 7 yrs Short description: Defines the architecture of a computerized system (i.e., a system composed of software and hardware) in order to fulfill certain requirement, including a breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions and interfaces (including with the environment, especially the user), and the technologies and resources to be used in the design. Required Skills: * 84 months experience in using WebLogic application server * 84 months experience in designing complex web applications on various development platform * 84 months experience in the design, implementation and deployment of Java SE, JDBC, Java Servlets and JavaScript with relational database model applications * 84 months experience in SQL object-relational mapping framework * 84 months experience working with java-based service-oriented architecture * 84 months experience in application testing including design and implementation of test plans * 84 months experience in working with HL7 messages * 84 months experience in designing interfaces with SAS server environment Roles and responsibilities: • Provide technical guidance to the project team in order to ensure that system support is maintained during the Software Development Life Cycle. • Develop system design for improving ECLRS performance; receiving non-human results (eg. mosquito, mammal, and tick) from labs and populating to CDESS vector surveillance system; archive ECLRS database to improve performance; add a new drug overdose syndrome to ESSS; designing a new database for accepting urgent care canter data. • Provide system technical specification documents.
