* Role(s): Finance BA Role Location(s): remote in US Rate: 50//hr on C2C*
*Role Scope / Deliverables:* The Business Analyst – Finance will drive the
data validation process within a project to create a central database for a
group within company. This project aims to lay the foundations for future
process automation and data science within the Finance function. This
individual will work cross-functionally to align Finance requirements with
the IT solution across a global team.
*Key Skills:* Within the project team, the Sr. Business Analyst – Finance
will
• Support Finance teams within the divisions to capture relevant commercial
finance data in the central database.
• Validate the data in the central database by identifying any gaps with
original source data and investigating the root cause.
• Work with divisional Finance teams to understand the processes used to
generate reports currently, before supporting IT to automate these
processes.
• Partner closely with IT to complete requirements gathering and ensure
successful execution.
How you will get here:
Education
Bachelor's degree
Experience
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a finance analyst or business
analyst role. Experience in Finance preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Experience working with large sets of data and able to complete data
validations in a short period of time.
• Experience with Business Intelligence and Analytics platforms, PowerBI
preferred. Ability to craft reports and mine data as needed.
• Working knowledge of relational SQL databases.
• Experience with Finance reporting and CRM tools such as Salesforce.com
preferable.
• Ability to prioritize and ability to think strategically in a fast-paced
work environment.
• Strong communication and project management skills, along with a track
record of building alignment and partnerships across an organization.
