Job Title: Help Desk Support/Level II Support Location: Albany, NY Duration: 12+ Months Client: State of NY (State Client- NY State) Interview Type: Telephonic/Skype or Webex Experience Required: 5+ years Job Description: IT Specialist: Work in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms – beyond that of a Programmer. * 24 months experience supervising and providing technical support for level 2 help desk staff. * 24 months experience utilizing VMware vSphere to support virtual desktops including linked clones. * 24 months experience using LanSweeper, Remote Desktop and Active Directory, any of these. * 24 months experience using ITSM service desks. * 24 months experience resolving hardware and software issues and troubleshooting Windows 7 applications and OS. * 24 months experience configuring and installing Windows based hardware, peripherals, network printers and thin clients. * 24 months experience in network monitoring, permissions and troubleshooting user accounts. * 24 months experience with the installation and support of Microsoft Office suites in an enterprise environment. * 24 months experience managing equipment inventory * 12 months experience troubleshooting Windows 10 OS and applications * Working experience with State clients (Agencies) preferred.
