Role: Data Engineer Location: Mettawa, IL Long Term Contract Job Description: 1. Ability to lead a team of data engineers on the big data platform 2. Strong knowledge of Dataware house or Data Lake operations. 3. Strong Analytical and problem solving skils 4. Knowledge of Big data architecture 5. Proactively fore seeing an issue and acting upon it 6. Planning any activity on the operations 7. Architecting and design of Automating any manual task currently in the area 8. Experience in SQL any one or more of RDBMS like Oracle Teradata 9. Experience In Hive Query Language and Impala 10. Experience and knowledge of Spark Scala 11. Experience or knowledge of Pyspark Python 12. Strong understanding of Big Data and Hadoop platform including Cloudera 13. Strong understanding of AWS 14. Knowledge Or understanding of AWS services like s3 Lambda EMR EC2 15. Experience or Understanding of DevOps and CICD16Working on continuous improvement of current Operations process 16.
