Role: Business System Analyst Location: Richmond VA (Location: Preferred location is Richmond followed by any other locations with an Anthem office including but not limited to Richmond VA, Atlanta GA, Norfolk VA, Mason, OH, Woodland Hills CA, Thousand Oaks CA) Long Term Contract Looking for Business System Analysts with Payer Healthcare experience to build end to end business solutions and to work with one of the leading healthcare providers in the US. The ideal candidate must have experience working with cross functional project teams on Enterprise initiatives helping business achieve their objectives. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and know how to collaborate effectively with domain experts and technical experts in the team. Responsibilities * Work with stake holders to understand requirements * Understand current system and work with business on laying out requirements * Create functional requirements * Document data requirements. Analyze the impact and effectively communicate it to impacted stake holders * Work with all stakeholders being impacted by business system and/or business process changes, where applicable, to ensure all changes are managed back into the business in a way that minimizes impact to the customer. * In the spirit of continuous improvement, challenge the status quo and challenge others to rethink current processes, structures, policies, methodologies * Assist all business partners, business analysts, business relationship managers to analyze changes in requirements and provide solutions for enhancements to all applications. * Maintain working knowledge of current state software development tools and methods, software testing methodologies, and research emerging trends in application product development space. * Define technical requirements, Mapping documents * Relay technical requirements to the developers * Analyse issues and UAT and queries from other teams. Requirements * Must have 7+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst of which minimum 4 years have to be with large enterprise initiatives * Experience with Healthcare data initiatives - * Strong logical and reasoning abilities * Data mining, analysis and mapping * Capable of investigating and quickly understanding the capabilities of existing systems and technologies already in use across a business area . Healthcare industry experience - Mandatory .
