*Duration: 9-12 Months* *Visa: Any visa/C2C is acceptable as this is contract only* *Description * This position is for a designer/developer to join a development team supporting the Small Business unit of the Commercial Lines Department (CLD) at The Cincinnati Insurance Companies. This team owns a mission-critical solution utilized both internally and externally by our customers for policy management. We are seeking a UI/UX Designer/Developer with 3 – 5 years of recent and consistent focus on Angular, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript development. C# development experience is desired but not necessary. This person will work with a cross-functional agile team of 10-15 members to implement and update user interface and experience in the front-end application. This project consists of an Angular application that supports cross-browser functionality and is responsive across multiple device types. The application uses asynchronous REST calls with a JSON format to interact with backend processes for policy management. Resp. Responsibilities include implementation of enterprise design patterns, design and implementation of new patterns and development of the software. Areas of design focus on improving both the look and the experience of the application while also creating design patterns that work across multiple browsers and screen sizes. This designer will collaborate closely with developers to ensure the designs work cohesively with the functionality being developed in the application. In addition to these responsibilities, this role will include work inside the Angular front end as well as potential limited work in the .NET Web API backend (not required). The development toolset for this position includes Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Visual Studio Code, CSS, HTML, Bootstrap, Angular, and Typescript/JavaScript. Required • 3-5 years of solid and consistent front-end design and development experience. • Experience with JavaScript and one or more of JavaScript frameworks, Angular preferred • Experience with one or more CSS frameworks, Bootstrap preferred • Experience with Cross-browser compatibility with regards to scripting and styling • Experience with responsive design • Experience with TypeScript preferred • Excellent and clear verbal and written communication skills. • Understands and uses development patterns and design best practices. • Demonstrated time management techniques with a sense of urgency to deliver on tasks coupled with an attention to detail. • Willingness to learn and grow in a team environment Desired C# development experience Thanks...
