We have urgent requirement with one of our client's, please review below job description and let me know your interest Title: Informatica BDM Developer Location: North Chicago, IL Duration: 12 to 24 months Locals Preferred Description Details Informatica BDM Developer who has experience with ETL Informatica, SQL, Scoop, Hadoop, Spark, and Hive. The successful candidate will demonstrate a quantifiable track-record of success in delivering results within a large complex organization. He/she must have the ability to quickly assess a new environment and develop solutions that support the business strategy, critical objectives, and cultural norms. He/she must be creative with a strategic mindset along with the ability to turn concepts into action. He/she must have strong relationship building and influence skills. The successful candidate will be a change agent who is flexible, resilient, and able to thrive in a dynamic, rapid paced environment. He/she will embody a culture of taking smart risks and innovating to win. Informatica BDM Developer Responsibilities: . Performs analysis, design, and development of ETL processes to support project requirements. . Develop Informatica mappings, SQL/stored procedures as well as data maps for Power Exchange, or Unix shell scripts. . Develop Sqoop scripts to extract data to/from RDBMS to Hadoop. . Develop Hive tables and queries. . Develop Spark jobs in (Scala/Python/Java) in order to stream / publish or consume data from Hadoop. . Performs unit testing, QA, and work with business partners to resolve any issues discovered during UAT. . Responsible for peer-review of mappings and workflows when required. . Maintains development and test data environments by populating the data based on project requirements. . Works with production control and operations as needed to promote mappings/workflows, implement schedules and resolve the issues. . Reviews ETL performance and conducts performance tuning as required on mappings / workflows or SQL. . Maintains all applicable documentation pertaining to specific SDLC phases. Informatica BDM Developer Requirements: . Technical Skills in order of priority: ETL Informatica,, Hadoop Programming(Sqoop, Hive, Spark), Strong SQL, Mainframe (JCL/ESP) , Teradata Experience. . A minimum of 4-6 years' experience in ETL Development. . 2-3 years' experience with Sqoop, Hive and Spark technologies. . Strong analytical and problem solving skills. . Strong understanding of ETL Development best practices, Strong understanding of Database Concepts, Performance Tuning in SQL and Informatica. . Strong knowledge of technology platforms and environments. . Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with multiple assigned projects and tasks. . Outstanding ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing. . Ability to develop complex mappings and workflows in accordance with requirements.
