Position will reside within the Innovation, Architecture, and Infrastructure team at Client. . Technical Project Manager will drive 4 projects covering conference room & video upgrades and improvements over the duration of the engagement: . 2020 Conference Room Updates (project in-flight): 56 conference rooms are in scope to upgrade, with roughly 5-10 targeted for completion prior to PM start date. . 2021 Conference Room Updates: A continuation of the 2020 updates, with room counts TBD based on 2020 completions. . Commercial Video Expansion - Counts TBD. . Video Conference Room Improvements - Covers four Executive Conference Rooms (ECRs), which will include simplification of rooms for everyday use, standardization of equipment, as well as enhanced room audio. . Technical background for this PM is required along with previous Infrastructure PM experience; previous experience with digital conferencing technologies (Teams/Zoom/Webex with video integration - Cisco, Surface Hub, Microsoft Teams Rooms) a strong plus. . Specific responsibilities of this project manager will include: . Scheduling and facilitating planning sessions between Conference Room Services, Facilities, and other key internal stakeholders, as well as additional external parties as required. . Developing and managing schedules, tasks, and dates - by room. . Publishing and maintaining schedules for Leadership review and ongoing awareness. . Driving accountability for task delivery and closure, per the schedule. . Providing ongoing reporting using standard project management methodologies, and Client standards and requirements. . Strong collaboration, communication, organizational, and presentation skills are a must, given the high degrees of business strategic impact and Senior Executive interactions that will be required, in addition to managing medium levels of change and project complexity. . Given the high visibility nature of the work, should possess the understanding of and ability to link technical outcomes with business outcomes. . Will work with a matrixed team of Client staff and 3+ Client vendors, as the projects dictate. . Minimum of 8+ years of project management experience (with a focus on Infrastructure required). . Contract to run from candidate's start date through December 31, 2021, with potential for additional extension following proven performance. . May execute and deliver in line with below Project Management expectations as required. Expectations: . Develop, execute, and manage project(s) within the defined scope. . Lead all aspects of the project lifecycle, working with project sponsors/key stakeholders, team members, and management to oversee all phases of project completion. . Build and manage project's work breakdown structure, milestones, risks, issues, and deliverables within the constraints of human and financial resources and changing priorities to ensure the successful completion of the project. . Initiate and Plan Project: Works with business and IT management to establish and gain consensus on project goals, objectives, financials, and deliverables. . Project Control: Assess the degree to which changes to scope, issues and risks will affect the project, working with business and IT management and sponsor to gain agreement for resolution. Measure performance to assure the project is progressing as compared to original plan and budget. . Executing and Closing Project: Develops and executes a work plan obtaining authorized resources to ensure all activities are performed. Leads team in delivering project scope. Gather lessons learned and obtain final project approval from sponsor and stakeholders. . Project Communication: Communicate project progress by producing project reports to provide timely and accurate project status and decision support information to project teams, business, and IT management. Makes recommendations based on current project status to resolve issues and manage risks. . Resource and Team Management: Coordinate resources to ensure project needs are addressed and effectively assign tasks and deliverables to team members based upon their abilities.
