The Analytics team at TE is part of the TE Information Solutions (TEIS) Organization and is responsible for driving organic growth by leveraging big data and advanced analytics. The team reports to the VP and Chief Data Officer at TEIS, works closely with the SVP of Corporate Strategy, and has regular interactions with the company’s C-Suite. This Data Scientist position will directly report to the Director of Data Science. You will be working on problems that require advanced analytics applications to create value for diverse business functions such as supply chain, pricing, Industrial IOT & digital factory implementation, digital marketing and sales growth, and will impact business units that span through multiple geographic areas. *Responsibilities* · Gather product and customer insights, ideate & curate new product features to increase adoption/usage of enterprise analytics products · Define analytics product vision and use data to communicate product vision & roadmaps to senior management · Analyse product statistics and user feedback to make informed decisions on product roadmaps · Build trust and work with cross-functional teams (engineering, analytics, UX/UI etc) to drive product development in a rapid and iterative release cycle · Make the “best” product decisions while managing budget, timeline, user, and senior management expectations *Education* · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Statistics or related field *Minimum Requirements* · 5+ years of experience in product management of analytics products, business consulting · Strong analytical skills and good understanding of analytics/data science · Experience and comfortable with working with both business leaders and working level teams. · Excellent communication skills – both written & spoken · Strong problem solver, ability to get things done while juggling multiple priorities · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment *We Value* · MBA or minor in Business, Engineering, or Finance related discipline, or relevant experience in these areas · Executive presentation – experience presenting to senior leaders of the company · Strong project management skills Thanks...
