*Position: Azure Architect* *Location: Remote Work* *Duration: 6 Months* *Technical: * Firm grasp of the Azure stack and architecting cloud solutions / migration of on-prem to the cloud in a dynamic (in process of being built) environment. Azure with Analytics Stack, Databricks, Python, ADF, Synapse, etc. *Behavioral:* Self-starting driver, non-passive. Operates with a sense of urgency. Candidate should be able to interface with DH&A engineering group, consult with business partners and recommend data strategies and necessary technical architecture to migrate from SAS applications to Azure Cloud & Tools. *Additional Details:* - Ability to provide technical oversight and leadership over (POCs and SAS to Azure Migrations) - Proficient in Data Management Solutions & Tools - Expert in Data Governance, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Data Modelling, Data Quality, Metadata and Reference & Master Data Management - IBM IGC/IA software and back-end data tables/REST API - Power BI - Microsoft SSIS development - Microsoft Azure SQL and other tools - Ownership of technical delivery and customer engagements - Data Architecture & Modelling. - Ability to meet with clients to understanding needs (lead architect assessment meetings) - Determine gaps between those and technical functionality, and collaborating with all stakeholders to generate mutually agreeable and advantageous solutions - Led the design, architecture and deployment of solutions in Azure platform. - Created Azure architecture blueprints and developer documentation. - Communicate with client-side technical team on architecture point of view and signoff - Knowledge of major components such as – ADF, ADB,ADLS, ASQLDB & Azure Dev-Ops. *Advise on IT Strategy:* - Determine requirements to interface with key client applications, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality and operations requirements. - Review and integrate the technical architecture requirements. Provide input into final decisions regarding final design. - Define the data requirements and structure for the application.
