Role: UI Architect Location: New York Long Term Contract Job Description: . Understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements . Design and Develop Applications using Java and related technologies . Build reusable components and front-end libraries . Experience with deploying systems to AWS other related servers. . Experience with development methodologies like CI/CD, Agile, Git, Jenkins, Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) . Able to develop SPA (Single Page Applications) consuming server-side JSON restful services . Develop PWA (Progressive Web App) using Service Workers . Performance Tuning & experience with building scalable Data Visualizations . Discuss with customer business groups to understand functionality and come up with innovative ideas for web development for the best user experience . Undertake project specific Proof of Concepts activities to validate technical feasibility . Discuss with offshore team on tasks to be done, and mentor junior members of the team. . Performs design & code reviews for team members. . Train, conduct interviews and build new high performance front end teams. . Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment. . At least 6 years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks & libraries in UI (Angular, React, Redux, RxJs) . Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS preprocessors (SASS or LESS) and JavaScript.. . Thorough understating of routing, dependency injection, modular components, data-binding strategies, reactive software, handling load at massive scale, testability, and other aspects of good FE application design principles . Expertise in Java development & Test Driven development . At least 4 years of experience in Angular Front End Architect role . At least 6 years of experience in project execution . Extensive experience in consuming & working with HTTP RESTful web services . Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural stand point Analytical skills . At least 6 years of experience in thought leadership, white papers and leadership/mentoring of staff and internal consulting teams . Strong Technical Leadership experience and good Communication Skills.. . Ability to interact with Customer and provide technical inputs/leadership. . Co-ordinate with and provide direction for offshore team. .
