As the automation engineer, you will deliver the following services for the AutoSys platform: . Software installation and configuration (agents and plugins) . Plan for upgrades and patches (application and security vulnerabilities) . Performance monitoring and tuning, load balancing . Capacity management and metrics gathering . Establish, maintain and apply standard practices and governance . Identify automation and optimization opportunities for process improvements In addition, you will need to have good understanding of infrastructure components such as load balancers, firewalls, network storage/filers and secure FTP protocols. You will need to work independently driving projects to completion as well as providing technical support for escalated operational incidents and problems. 1) What are the top 5 skills/requirements this person is required have? o a. Required Skill 1: Experience job scheduling tool CA Workload Automation and all shared components, Workload Control Center, Embedded Entitlement manager and iDash reporting. o b. Required Skill 2: Unix/Linux and PowerShell scripting as well as python o c. Required Skill 3: Knowledge high availability, load balancing and automation concepts o d. Required Skill 4: Good understanding of ITIL incident, problem and change management process o e.
