• Senior Workflow Engineer will be responsible for automating business processes leveraging Flowable Workflow Engine and integrating with other enterprise systems, to increase efficiency and transparency across the business operations. • Partner with teams liaising with business and business directly to analyze workflows and processes, to automate and improve efficiencies. • Design and develop applications on Flowable/BPM platform to satisfy end-user requirements using out of the box BPM product capabilities. • Collaborate with cross technology teams to integrate BPM applications with enterprise systems, setup/deploy infrastructure and cloud environments, and secure applications • Create technical artifacts, including process flowcharts, design/architecture documents, UML model, etc. • Estimate, plan and execute toward expectations and commitments, leveraging methodologies and tools, and develop metrics to measure operational efficiency • Analyze application logs to ensure that functionality and performance metrics meet all product and service level requirements. • Provide technical guidance throughout business process improvement and modernization efforts to engineer methodologies and principles, including associated processes, technology, skills *Qualifications:* • 5+ years of experience in Software development methodologies and best practices • 3+ years of experience in delivering BPM solutions using Flowable or similar Business Process Management (BPM) platforms (i.e. jBPM,Activiti,Camunda) • 3+ years’ experience building applications in leveraging software platforms, in an integrated architecture, with exposure to open technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, APIs, XML, JSON, SOAP, REST. • Strong experience working collaboratively using Agile/Scrum methodology is essential. • Solid experience with Git, GitHub and DevOps tools. • Experience with business rules engines like Drools and DMN (Decision Modeling Notation) is highly desired. • Experience with cloud native applications is preferred. • Fluent in complex SQL and experienced in DB2, Oracle or SQL server preferred. • Good experience on data streaming (ex. Kafka). data messaging and event driven systems. • Experience with modern agile software delivery practices such as scrum, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), TDD, and BDD, DevOps, and automation. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff. • Bachelor's Degree required.
