Basic understanding of storage POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Systems Engineer's role is to design, build, implement and otherwise ensure that all server and storage platforms and related components are operational and highly available. This role also serves as an escalation resource to the IT Service Desk team when major system issues are encountered. This role may serve as a project manager or team lead for initiatives involving major computer technology implementations. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES PERFORMED BY THE INCUMBENT. * Develop strategies for client/server implementations and build / maintain the infrastructure required to support those strategies * Assist in the design and testing of new server systems and applications.
