*Must-have skills: *installing, troubleshooting, and supporting hardware (scanners, hard drives, RAM, processors, CDRWs, DVDRW’s, multimedia kits), software (Windows OS’s Office, Outlook, and Internet Explorer), apps; TCP/IP protocols. *Requirements:* - Experience installing computer hardware and software including personal computers, printers, and peripherals in both a network and standalone environment; - Experience installing and troubleshooting clients in a Microsoft networking environment; - Experience installing, troubleshooting, and supporting desktop applications and operating systems including Windows OS’s Office, Outlook, and Internet Explorer; - Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols; - Experience installing, diagnosing, and repairing hardware including scanners, hard drives, RAM, processors, CDRWs, DVDRW’s, multimedia kits, and other peripherals; - Bachelor's Degree, from an accredited college/university, in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or four (4) years of equivalent work experience. - Experience supporting computers in a criminal justice environment (preferred) - Experience working in a call center environment (preferred); - Experience in Active Directory user administration (preferred). - *Responsibilities *include but are not limited to the following: - Provide software and hardware support; - Use documented procedures and checklists to assist end users with technical issues; - Use a ticket tracking system to log end user information and description of the issue; - Escalate problems to technical support; - Communicate with the end users regarding the status of the issue resolution.
