In this technical role, you will be a critical contributor to building compelling informatic products within Client’s ElectroPhysiology Division. You will participate in the development and deployment of product, infrastructure systems and software architecture to improve our development programs. This includes design, development, and documentation of product networking, operating systems and software delivery components for diagnostic and interventional cardiology devices, and participation in all phases of the software lifecycle, including concept development, requirements, design, implementation, and testing. Primary Responsibilities: · Develop requirement specifications, design, implementation and testing of networking sub-systems and components used in medical devices and enterprise infrastructure environments used for connectivity. · Implement and enhance remote connectivity solutions for accessing medical devices using Linux screen sharing for enhanced phone support and collaboration. · Design, implement and troubleshoot enterprise application software for video and audio collaboration. · Provide deliverables according to the EP Quality System as applicable. · Create and enhance performance of systems used to deliver software remotely to medical devices using Linux operating systems. · Perform root cause analysis, including troubleshooting of build and deployment related issues · Creating and maintaining documentation for Product and Enterprise Applications. · Ensuring the continuous improvement and evolution of software work products · Collaborate and work with a broad range of technologists, software developers and other support personnel, both within and outside of Client, on the maintenance and troubleshooting of applications Required Qualifications: · 5+ years of network engineering and/or Linux operating system internals/administration experience · Demonstrated experience with configuring the networking sub-system for the Linux Operating System · System network programming experience using C and/or C++ · 1+ year of experience providing technical leadership and/or mentorship · Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with multiple levels in the organization · Previous experience working in a matrixed and geographically diverse business environment · Proficient in diagramming tools like Visio. Interface with internal Pharmaceutical client customers such as physicians, nurses, pharmacists, hospital personnel, risk managers, purchasing agents, sales representatives, general public, manufacturing sites, technical support, commercial organization and PV regarding Pharmaceutical client product complaints. Responsible for product complaint documentation, investigations and identification of potential adverse events and potentially reportable events. Responsibilities may include creation and submission of regulatory reports, creation of customer communications and interface with various third parties. Responsibilities: •Assure complaint records meet global requirements. •Product complaint documentation, investigation, and review of all non-medical complaint content. Responsible for reviewing Medical complaints that involve a non-medical quality related problem. Provide quality customer service through coordination of return samples for investigation and follow up activities such as replacement of product. •Ensures that complaint documentation meets Good Documentation Practices as well as GMP and GCP. This requires good analytical skills, technical writing and good documentation. Responsible that complaint files meet all regulatory requirements. •Identification of potentially reportable events and notification to appropriate functional groups and management. •Interface with Third Party Manufacturers, health care professionals, general public, internal customers, Pharmaceutical client functional areas and regulatory agencies. Qualifications: •Knowledge of global regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical, medical devices and combination products. •Knowledge of FDA requirements for Quality Systems, pharmaceutical products, and Medical Device Reporting regulations (21 CFR 803, 820 and 211) is preferred. •Ability to prioritize multiple projects to ensure compliance with regulations and standard operating procedures is preferred. •Solid written/verbal communication and organizational skills. •Knowledge and application of computer systems for word processing and complaint management. •Ability to work with cross-functional teams and to interact effectively with peers, management, and customers. •A Bachelor Degree required.
