*Infrastructure Automation Engineer-Vrealize/VRO/VRA* *Phoenix, AZ* *Long Term* *Job Description: (Automation Engineer)* The Candidate should have strong understanding of IT Infrastructure to act as subject matter expert for automation integration with IT systems• Facilitating the mitigation of risks and issues throughout the Automation lifecycle • Drive end to end business and technical solution by managing various phases of development cycles • Working with partners to provide functional and technical expertise for solution design, development, testing, risk mitigation and ongoing maintenance of automation solutions. *Requirements:* - 6+ years’ experience of coding in any general programming language - Excellent Scripting knowledge on PowerShell, Python, WMI and Java script. - Proficient in Windows Operating Systems, SQL, server builds, server upgrades and active directory administration, GPO’s and Logon scripts. - Design of automation solutions to include hardware platforms, services, and operation systems. - Develop, support, maintain, and troubleshoot scripts in Microsoft Windows operating environment. - Knowledge or willingness to learn Linux operating system, Puppet and shell scripting. - Must have knowledge of orchestration and automation. - Experience in REST, SOAP API’s and the use of JSON Key value pairs. - Supports the existing *vRealize automation* portals, provisioning workflows and infrastructure - Knowledge on Change Control and Configuration Management processes. - Knowledge on VMware Datacenter and Management Products like vSphere, vCenter, vROPs and PowerCLI - Develop, document, and automate technical processes and procedures as needed.
