*Skills required*
- Hands-on experience on Azure IaaS (Design and Implementation).
- Hands-on experience on large scale migration from on premises
environments into Azure using 6R techniques such as Rehosting,
Re-platforming, Refactoring, etc. depending on the customer’s needs.
- Responsible for design, development, and architecture of Cloud
solutions.
- Responsible for design and build Azure foundation setup.
- Deliver best Practices around provisioning, operations and management
of cloud environment.
- Ensures that the cloud design is adhering to required standards, high
availability & DR requirements and industry based compliance needs.
- Implement availability, scalability, and performance plans for Azure
managed service environments.
- Design, architect, lead and build Proof of Concepts in Azure cloud.
- Optimize compute, network and storage, network connectivity method.
- Implement processes and quality improvements through task automation:
Implement Infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using ARM, Terraform.
- Design and Implementation of Azure for various enterprise applications.
- Create architecture diagrams of target public architectures based on
best-practices and with customer requirements in mind; walkthrough diagrams
with customer and gain buy-in.
- Design & implement Network connectivity, Provisioning Strategy.
- Assess & Design RBAC (Role Based Access Controls) needs
- Ensure Cloud foundation is strong and with needed compliance
requirements
- Assess the needs of managed identities, Service principals, and TLS
Security, Oauth 2 Authentications, certificates or forms authentication
- Design & build Cloud SQL Databases, tiers, replication strategy
- Design relational/non-relational databases, data auditing, caching,
performance
- Work with other Architects on Security, Data protection and loss
strategy, Failover Failback strategy.
- Demonstrated technical thought leadership in customer facing
situations.
- Good to have experience on Designing & building Azure Kubernetes
platform.
- Good to have experience on Designing & building Azure Service mesh
(ex. Istio) on top of Kubernetes platform.
