Position Title: Test Automation Framework Developer (Glow Networks, 3278) Location: REMOTE (Must be authorized to live and work in the USA) Client: Cisco Duration: Long Term Contract Tex term: Open Summary: Glow Networks is seeking a Test Automation Framework Developer to support our customer. We are searching for an experienced Test Engineer who understands ROBOT Framework testing. This is a full-time, contract opportunity, well suited for a Test Engineer with development and deployment experience. Key Points of Emphasis for the hiring manager: * Fluent experience in Python, must write proven, efficient, reliable, and reusable code * Participate in Automation Framework Development (ROBOT Framework) * Experience in software development, coding tools, Github, jira, etc. * Hands-on experience in flask; REST API experience is a plus * Experience in frontend is a plus, (HTML/CSS/JS) * Familiarity in deployment, Docker and micro-services * Mobility packet core knowledge is also an advantage Essential Functions: * Design and execute tests on ROBOT Framework * Use Python to write proven, efficient, reliable, and reusable code * Execute software test plans and fully document expected vs actual results for systems under test * Validate proper Software and Firmware deployments Other Functions: * Work with scripts and tools / scripting languages.
