Below is the JD for your ref: Job Title: Sr. Java Engineer with RPA Location: Temple Terrace, FL (Remote till Covid) Duration: 12+ Months Client: Verizon Job Description: Senior Software Engineer (RPA/Bots) MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important): * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Information Technology or four or more years of work experience. * Six or more years of relevant work experience. * Four or more years of progressive experience in systems/software design and development. * Experience with E2E integration of complex heterogeneous systems. * Experience with Java/J2EE development, Linux, nodeJS, relational databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, NOSQL databases like Cassandra. * Experience with Microservice & cloud-native technologies, including Spring, Spring Boot, nodeJS, REST Services and Web technologies. * Working experience with OOP, SOA, design pattern, multi-threading. * Experience with DevOps automation and toolchain including Jenkins, Maven, GIT & Jira. * Experience with integration platforms like Bonita/jBPM, APIGEE. * AWS or any public cloud experience. * Knowledge in SQL, R, Python, and Data Visualization tools, RPA, Chatbots. * Experience in delivering AI projects involving NLP, Machine Learning, Computer vision etc. DESIRED SKILLS: * Experience in delivering projects with AI, Computer Vision, Digital Twin. * Experience with SAFe/Agile software development process. * Produced periodic updates on technology innovation pilot cases. * Ability to manage and work with teams located in multiple geographic regions. * Communicate effectively to executive management on the status and progress of projects and initiatives. JOB DUTIES: As the Senior Software Engineer for the Network Systems Shared platform team, you will be responsible for working on new, innovative and emerging technologies that will deliver value to Verizon's Network & Technology business stakeholders. You will be hands on and working on new technologies such as Robotic Process Automation, develop, and innovate on the network organization's chatbot platform using Google Dialog Flow or similar NLP platform, and work on AI/ML based business use cases. * Work in tight partnership with Network business stakeholders in identifying and assessing use cases to deliver with the appropriate technologies to solve complex problems. * Work closely and collaborate with IT peer organizations in supporting automation needs for various OSS/BSS applications. * Develop and design innovative solutions and provide technical leadership and oversight to your team. * Manage multiple delivery teams and ensure result-oriented deliverables are completed per commitments. * Develop and support shared platforms, provide governance, communicate and reinforce best practices and promote reuse of the technology solutions. * Track and report on opportunity pipelines and operational metrics to executives.
