Below is the JD for your ref: Job Title: Java Developer - IV Location: Colorado Springs, CO, Ashburn, VA or Irving, TX Duration: 6+ Months Client: Verizon Visa Type: Any Job Description: JOB DUTIES: Member of Tiger Team -- a fourth level Development Support team. Analyze production issues across multiple environments and systems. Includes CentOS and AWS environments -- multiple third party products -- in particular Forge Rock for authentication -- and JAVA, Oracle, and Apache/Tomcat skills. Provide software or environment/data fixes to address production problems in a large scale Managed Security Services infrastructure. Ability to analyze and find a remediation path essential. Knowledge of GIT/GitLab, JIRA, and development environments desired. Ability to obtain a federal clearance/public trust. MUST HAVE SKILLS: -- Prior development skills and analysis required -- Able to analyze JAVA and related code -- Knowledge of Angular and portal environments -- Oracle and SQL desired -- Centos and prior experience with on premise solutions desired DESIRED SKILLS: -- Apache/Tomcat and associated infrastructure -- Robot for automated test case creation -- Knowledge of AWS environments and tools -- Willingness to focus on production support issues and solutions -- Working with customer service and operations personnel a job responsibility -- AWS knowledge and support desired This section would describe the "perfect candidate". These skills are not required to perform the role, but would be helpful and in some cases could supersede a missing "must have" skill. -- Desire to do fourth level production analysis, code fix, and support. -- Must be able to qualify for Federal and State Clerances and Public Trust clearances. -- Great written and verbal communication skills and able to clearly communicate under pressure, and express complex technical concepts to multiple developers and support teams of varying knowledge levels. -- Knowledge of a wide range of computer languages and technologies to support a wide range of products and environments (including JAVA, PERL, Angular frameworks) -- Knowledge of Forge Rock -- Ability to analyze and recommend and develop solutions for production issues -- Analysis of data and understanding data relationships EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: -- Four year degree in software and IT systems -- AWS certifications desired REQUIRED SHIFT: This is a fourth level production support position -- we do not work 7x24 and maintain normal business hours.
