Main liaison to business functional areas - Partnering with business stakeholders, understanding their needs, prioritizing efforts, recommending changes / innovations, serving as the Subject Matter Expert for their area of expertise. System Design - Documenting requirements and developing solutions using standard or custom SAP functionality. Recommending alternatives when multiple options are available. Developing Solutions - Performing SAP System Configuration, writing functional requirements for custom development, performing appropriate system tests (Unit Testing, Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing), writing system/user documentation, training end users on functionality. Production Support - Troubleshooting system issues, analyzing processes, recommending course of action. Specific Skills and/or knowledge, credentials, or professional certifications: In depth functional and configuration expertise in the SAP Finance (FI) module and SAP Controlling module (CO) is required. Experience/knowledge in Vertex Tax software, SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and/or Materials Management (MM) is a plus. Analytical skills must include the ability to quickly identify problems, gather relevant information, determine the root causes, and make recommendations regarding solutions. Proactive, self-starter who sets high standards for self and co-workers. Strong organizational skills - ability to manage multiple competing tasks and adapt quickly to changes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Position ID: DYESJP00013508 Title: Business Data Analyst with Application Migration and Modernization - Apps Location: North Chicago, IL Duration:14 Months+ Locals Preferred (onsite work Required from Day1) Description: . Analyst Commodity II (EI2) - Data Analyst - Application Migration and Modernization Primary Needs: . Position will reside within the Innovation, Architecture, and Infrastructure team at Client. . This role will work with a larger program dealing with application migrations and modernizations, across both Client and newly acquired Allergan technologies. . Expected contributions and tasks will include: o Obtain various application related information (e.g. application disposition, server information, OS version, etc.) from business contacts and input into a tracking database o Evaluate and analyze the application related data and by using formulas, pivot tables, etc., be able to provide totals, highlights, trends, etc. of the data o Investigate questions of the application data with business leads and with the program team . Will work with a matrixed team of Client staff, working with project sponsors/key stakeholders, team members, and management throughout all phases of project, through completion. . 3 positions are available to be filled. . Contract to run from candidate's start date through December 31, 2022. Qualifications: . Ability to execute on all Primary Needs outlined above. . Experience working with infrastructure and applications. . Microsoft Excel proficiency will be needed, preferably advanced. . Candidate must possess interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills given the high degrees of strategic impact, change, project complexity, and potential senior management interactions involved with the program. . Must be a highly motivated self-starter and detailed oriented with strong organizational skills and be able to work under general supervision. . Able to perform a variety of tasks and be able to adjust to changing priorities. . Ability to collaborate with others to complete assigned tasks. . The individual will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. . candidate will work hours aligned with a Lake County, IL team based in the Central Time Zone. (Ability to work on site is preferred, but not required.) Preferred Qualifications: . Advanced experience with Excel preferred including using formulas, pivot tables, etc. . General knowledge of infrastructure . Past experience with working with applications . Note: no requirement for PMP certification for this role. .
