Cloud Architect Lake Mary FL As a Cloud Architect, you will build out and deploy cloud solutions to support enterprise clients. This will require all dimensions of cloud architecture. Responsibilities o Architecting application designs using Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or any leading cloud-provider services o Building, migrating, and testing Cloud Service Provider (CSP) environments o Designing data security and end-to-end applications o Leading application migration projects, including optimizing technical reliability and improving application performance o Integration with on-premise applications, cloud providers, or other platforms o Implementing cost-optimized solutions based on usage, business requirements, and budget Requirements o Bachelor-level degree in engineering, IT, data communications, telecommunications, computer science, or equivalent professional experience and/or qualifications o 6+ years of relevant consulting, industry, or technology experience o Ability to architect enterprise applications using Azure, GCP, or AWS o Understand cloud security for access identify management to security groups o Deep knowledge of automation scripts and tools: Bash, Chef, Docker, Ansible, and CloudFormation o Understand how to deploy multitier applications across a custom defined virtual private cloud o Ability to set up multilevel network environments with any of the CSPs o Ability to design scalable, secure, reliable, and efficient technical cloud ecosystems to support enterprise applications o Knowledge of how to set up and use different database types: Azure SQL, SQL Data Warehouse, Bigtable, or Big Query o Experience with Application Programming Interface (API) and gateway functions: cloud function and API gateway (or equivalent) o Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills o Strong communicator Skills desired o Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): Cloud platform and infrastructure/Google certified professional—cloud architect/data engineer o AWS certification—associate/professional solution architect o Experience in Linux and/or Windows-based OS, including virtual machines: Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), Red Hat, SUSE, or Windows Server o Experience with VMware products (i.e., vRealize) o Experience with cloud automation and container tools: Bash scripting, Ansible, Docker, Chef, or Puppet o Working knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and/or agile methodologies
