Remote position Salesforce (velocity ) Developer Duties • Participate in the development of Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) applications based on client needs. • Execute declarative and custom Salesforce and Vlocity application configurations. • Use Apex and VisualForce to create customer solutions as required. • Participate in the full application life cycle from technical design to development, testing and deployment. • Responsible for developing of new features, maintenance and enhancements of existing functionality. • Execute and document Salesforce Industries releases. • Foster and maintain best practices and coding standards.
Project-specific Required Technical Skills • SFDC basics – Apex, Visualforce, triggers, objects, security model, etc. • OmniScript Development • Order Management Decomposition • Vlocity EPC – Absolute Must • Telecom Knowledge General Required Technical Skills • 5+ years experience with end to end Salesforce.com implementation, integration and enhancement projects. • 1+ years SFI / Vlocity experience • SFI (OmniScripts, Data Raptors, Integration Procedures, Cards, Calculation Matrices) • 2+ years APEX and VisualForce development for custom Salesforce.com functionality. • Lightning Experience, Lightning Components, Lightning Web Components • Experience integrating business processes across disparate systems and multiple Salesforce instances using web services, SOAP, XML, REST, MSMQ, workflow, XML, HTML, UML and JavaScript. • Demonstrated expertise on Architecture best practices, design patterns and design trade-offs on internet and cloud based platforms. • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. • Development of custom objects, fields and formulas, custom reports, and dashboards. • Integration experience with other Salesforce Applications and External systems. • Development of SOAP and REST based web services used for custom development. • Solid understanding of SaaS and CRM development processes and methodologies. • Strong experience developing and maintaining validation rules and custom workflows. • BS or advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent. • Salesforce Platform Developer II • Experience working on Agile projects.
