Remote Position Sr. Sitecore Engineer Summary of Role: The Sitecore Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining Sitecore environment hosted in Azure. The candidate must have the ability to work independently as part of a global team while partnering with application owners, technical business units, data center services vendors and other diverse areas within IT in an ongoing basis.
Role: • Sitecore installation, configuration, upgrades, patches for Dev, Test, User Acceptance, Production, and Disaster Recovery environments • Custom code deployments (solution package deployment, features) and related configurations (Web applications, Site Collections, Content DBs, App Pools, DNS, IPs, etc.) • Building Site hierarchies and site configurations based on given specifications • Monitoring o Sitecore Content Delivery, Content Management and Database Servers o Core Sitecore services • Building development environments (Shared DEV environments and individual developer’s workstations) and source code control systems (Team Foundation Server and TeamCity) • Responsible for maintaining consistent configuration across various Sitecore environments (Dev, Test, User Acceptance, Production, and Disaster Recovery) • Build and maintain documentation in the areas of o Environments build and configuration o Backup and Restore o Code deployment procedures and configuration o Disaster Recovery o Upgrade and Patch installation • Coordinate and assist the load testing initiatives working with load testers and development teams, responsible for providing the server performance metrics • Manage the Azure subscription that is hosting the Sitecore servers and services • Develop Management reporting on system outages • Work with product owner to provide technical solutions for their site requirements Requirements: • BS/BA degree in a relevant Business or Information Technology area • Experience in Microsoft products: o Azure Fundamentals, Application Gateway, DevOps, Web Application firewall o SQL Servers o TFS (Team Foundation Server) o SCOM o Windows Servers • Experience building and deploying Sitecore based applications in a cloud-based environment • Experience working with Sitecore search solutions • Knowledge of ITIL Change Management • Experience deploying Content Management systems -- [image: cid:[email protected]] *Thanks & Regards,* *Ankit | Lead Recruiter* Cogent Infotech- 1035 Boyce Road, Suite 108, Pittsburgh PA 15241 Tel: Direct :+1-412-909-4689 extn 682 Email: [email protected] * |*www.cogentinfo.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to "rtc-linux".
