Description: Pharmaceutical client is looking for a highly motived cloud
engineer that will be responsible for the engineering, implementation, and
operations of cloud services in a multi-cloud environment with an emphasis on
AWS. The ideal candidate will have a solid understand of cloud computing involving
multiple disciplines and collaborate with business units to provide
consultation and support for cloud solutions with a focus on best practices and
security for all cloud services and solutions. This role will also be expected
to investigate and engineer new technologies focused on automation to enhance
and secure the cloud platforms and provide agility to the business.

Years of experience/education and/or certifications required:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Associate, AWS
Certified Cloud Practitioner
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Solutions
Associate (MCSA)
Microsoft or AWS security certification preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information
Technology or relevant field.
5+ years work experience designing, executing, and supporting cloud services
in a multi-cloud environment such as AWS and Azure
What are the top 3-5 skills requirements should this person have?
1. Understands cloud hosting systems involved and can creatively think through
troubleshooting problems
2. Ability to interact effectively with junior and senior levels within the
organization
3. Self starter
4. Writes clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings
What is a nice to have (but not required) regarding skills, requirements,
experience, education, or certification? Certification in more than one public
cloud. Experience in larger global enterprise environments. Scripting skills.

Work Schedule (Define days,# of hours)/ Is Overtime offered or required? If
yes, how many hours, what impact to scheduled working hours? Mon-Fri 8 hours
per day. Willingness to be available, as needed, for major and critical
security issues
Does this position offer the ability to work remotely on a regular basis or
is it an on-site role? If remote opportunity exists, what are the options
-Onsite preferred possible hybrid work model with expectations to be onsite
every week Ability to report to office when conditions are favorable. Remote
work is allowed but not scheduled, it is based on conditions and approval.
