Location – Remote in US
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Looking for candidates who have developed in C++ or C# programming language in the past (Any one of these languages is OK)
- Must have strong algorithm, data structure, and objected oriented experience in whatever language they are proficient in
- Market Risk – building new platform ( all asset, equities, credit, macro, FRTB )
- Working on development/gathering requirements from risk managers
- Mostly backend / Server Side development
- Some of the work done will be in F# functional programming and client will teach this skill.
- F# - if you can model your domain probably and organize sequence of steps
What application does:
Risk engines creating risk data, and what should be logical trades, hierarchy of those trades, which desks to be attributed
Run stresses – hypothetical scenarios on the markets and valuations, what is sensitive to market conditions and exposure which will simulate different conditions to valuations of portfolios which can be shown by geographies, locations etc…
Developing trading infrastructure to make it work – adjust trading strategy based on this information
Calculations can be run daily sometimes more
