Major Incident Management: Duty Manager
Provides Major Incident Management services as part of a team. Applies
knowledge of Pharmaceutical client IT high-level architectures, ITIL practices,
Managed Service Providers, and/or operations teams to drive resolution of Major
Incidents. Establishes plans and commitments and ensures that all required
delivery resources are aligned and available when needed. Monitors execution
activities and manages risks and issues to ensure service and solution delivery
commitments are being met. Also supports continuous improvement efforts for
related processes and services.
Provides oversight for Major Incident Management (MIM) service
to ensure execution tactics are defined and planned and commitments are met.
Ensures MIM delivery efforts are planned and executed using current standards,
methodologies, tools and processes and follows rules for requesting exceptions,
where justified, to achieve business needs
Provides cross functional coordination of Managed Service Providers, Business
Technology Organizations, and/or operations teams.
Ensures that all dependent resources are staged and ready for delivery
activities to be performed including skills, software, etc.
Escalate resource contention to management
Maintains working knowledge of appropriate Pharmaceutical client IT high-level
architectures, ITIL practices, Pharmaceutical client standards and other
frameworks that impact service and solution delivery and ensures that
appropriate governance is engaged
Maintains productive relationships with peers and clients
Follows organization standards for status reporting to key stakeholders
including KPIs, risks, and issues
Supports delivery forecasting efforts.
Identifies opportunities for improvement of delivery and reporting capabilities

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer
Engineering. Equivalent experience is defined as 6 years combined experience in
the above areas.
Experience in IT engineering and/or operations.

Foundational knowledge of ITIL framework and Service Operations (Major Incident
Management)

Position will reside within the Innovation, Architecture, and Infrastructure
(IAI) team at Pharmaceutical Client.
Infrastructure Project Manager required to lead the Database Infrastructure
team with project management activities connected to Pharmaceutical Clients
overall Application Migration and Modernization (AMM) Program:
o The AMM program is a key part of our overall technology integration efforts
across Pharmaceutical Client and recently acquired Allergan technologies. The
goal of the program is to retain the best of our applications across both
Legacy Allergan and Legacy Pharmaceutical Client, with final disposition of all
applications resulting in a variety of potential outcomes that include
retaining & upgrading applications, merging data between 2
same-applications, migrating data from 1 like-application to another
like-application, as well as any necessary application
retirements/deactivations, with accompanying data archiving. These application
migrations and modernizations will happen across multiple Pharmaceutical Client
functions and organizations, requiring a great deal of skillful coordination,
communication, influence, and teamwork.
As a member of the overall AMM program described above, this Project Manager
will work across IAI and the various Business Technology Organizations (BTOs)
application support teams to ensure successful migration of applications into
the Pharmaceutical Client environment.
To be successful, candidate should possess prior project management
experience with application migration activities, as well as an understanding
of Database application interaction using SQL Server/Oracle.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager that can bring their own
technical knowledge and prior application migrations experiences to the role,
to drive success.
Although acting in a Project Manager role, this individual should be able to
operate at times in a Business Systems Analyst-type role, including digging
into database and application analytics.
Candidate will be providing regular updates to both the technical teams and
management teams.
Candidate will be expected to work in a hybrid model for this role, with 3
days onsite in Lake County, IL, 2 days remote.
Strong project management skillset needed, including proven ability to lead
and drive project success.
Should be well organized with the ability to review and track the project
schedule end to end.
Must be a self-starter, able to manage a variety of projects, and be able to
communicate to leadership.
Will conduct meetings with project team members and key stakeholders,
publishing meeting minutes.
Will manage weekly and monthly progress reporting, as well as tracking
project financials for budget adherence.
Candidate must possess strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication
