Role:Eagle Business Analyst Location:Boston, MA Duration:6+ Months About the role: · The perfect candidate will have prior technical anddata experience in a project setting working with the Eagle in a PortfolioAccounting setting. · At a minimum, we want someone with: o Experience in one of the following Eagle functions: § Eagle (STAR/PACE) and an understanding of different processes thatimpact security positions (trade flow, cash, corporate action) and the databehind them. § Eagle RDC and an understanding of the processing of differentsecurity types o technical aspects: § comfortable with writing SQL to combine and extract data fromtables and understanding stored procedure code § Work with Message Center and Panel Development would be a big plus o ability to work independently and drive towards delivery dates o comfort with fielding questions from the business on supportinquiries and resolving items in a timely manner RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Performs analysis ofbusiness activities to determine business requirements. Works with businessusers to understand and define needs above and beyond requirements provided bythe business. Converts business requirements into functional specifications.Works closely with the Agile team, business users, and other technologyprofessionals to ensure that project deliverables are completed on time andwithin budget. 2. Acts as the primaryliaison between business stakeholders and the technology organization to ensureproper implementation of requirements within the expected timetable. Communicatesany material modifications of business requirements to business stakeholders. 3. Formulates and definessystems scope and objectives based on both user needs and an understanding ofapplicable business systems and industry requirements. 4. Ensures proper dataprocessing through the use of data checks and reports to facilitate error freebusiness processes. 5. Collaborates with theQA team in developing high level test plans. Reviews test cases developed bythe QA team. Works with automated testing team when needed for performance/loadtesting as well as automated regression testing. 6. Works to ensure apositive end product for business stakeholders by overseeing the implementationof new software. Creates and maintains proper training materials and businessdocumentation. 7. Leverages thecompany’s Agile Methodology to help the team deliver value out of theirsprints. 8. Provides applicationand production support as needed to the departments and systems that theysupport. JOB REQUIREMENTS: 1. Bachelor's degree orequivalent experience in a business or technology related field. 2. Minimum of seven toten years’ experience in the financial services industry, supporting buy-sidetechnology. 3. Strong technicalskills including a solid understanding of underlying relevant technicalarchitecture and business processes. 4. Proven ability toefficiently utilize resources and communicate with others, both verbally and inwriting. 5. Experience working inthe Agile framework and working within scrum team to deliver outcomes. 6. Ability to considerthe business implications of the application of technology to the current andfuture state business environment. 7. Proven ability todevelop creative solutions to meet business needs.
