Role: Sr. Scrum Master Location: Santa Clara, CA (Remote Till Covid) Experience: 10+ Years Rate: $70/HR on C2C (MAX) Job Description: * Facilitates & support daily stand-up, sprint planning, sprint Grooming, sprint review, and sprint retrospective * Work closely with Product Owners to drive Sprint Grooming and to ensure backlog items are properly and fully defined and groomed prior to acceptance into a sprint * Ensure that Scrum is understood, and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines * Manage the projects and facilitates sprint releases * Drive sprint executions, communicates with management and stakeholders, protects the team from uncontrolled injection of work (changes are evaluated/intentional) * Thrives in lean, dynamic environments with competing priorities and leads the team in identifying the right priorities and focus. * Able to do post-mortem and root cause analysis to help teams continuously improve their practices to ensure maximum productivity * Coaching leaders, teams and stakeholders on technical and non-technical agile practices * You coach and mentor the teams in Agile methodologies and communication skills to make sure that everybody can reach their full potential and the teams are running smoothly * Share and learn best practices with peers to increase the effectiveness of the application of agile practices in the organization * Leads team effort in relentless improvement, define and implement improvement stories to increase the velocity and quality of the program Implement and support principles, rules, and processes Key skills: * Works with the right sense of urgency. * Ability to bring different teams together to work as one * Good experience in agile methodology, Jira tool , Scrum techniques and good understanding of managing infra initiatives * Thinks ahead and across - identifying dependencies and proactively works to document and work through them with the appropriate teams * Anticipates bumps in the road and guides to avoid them * Work with our teams to bridge waterfall foundation to agile - not just being willing to work in agile framework, but also how to represent their roadmaps, timelines, plans, commitments * Easily work across all levels * Willing to accommodate the 3 time zones (PST, IST, and EMEA) Thanks and Regard; Deependra Kumar IDC Technologies Inc.
