Locals Preferred - Hybrid Remote (3 days Onsite, 2 days Remote)
Primary Needs: Position will reside within the Pharmaceutical client Business Technology Solutions (BTS) Strategy & Continuous Improvement Team. BTS is driving and supporting a full business systems integration of a company recently acquired by Allergan Aesthetics/Pharmaceutical client. As part of the integration, there are multiple business processes across the organization that are currently under review to determine integration strategies, and if relevant, collect requirements for integration support from BTS. This role will work closely with the BTS Deal Lead for Mergers, Acquisitions, Partnerships & Alliances to coordinate and align multiple parallel workstreams. Current business processes under review to include in these parallel workstreams may include: o E-Commerce / Ordering o CRM, Sales Reporting & Sales Training o IVR & Shared Mailboxes o Marketing Automation & Promotional Materials o ERP & Related Reporting o QMS & Compliance Training o Document Management System o Supply Planning & Demand Planning o Product Lifecycle Mgmt. o Service Management
This Project Manager may be asked to lead multiple workstreams from above list. Therefore, we require a flexible individual with the following qualities: o High capability for professional interaction o High attention to detail o Comfortable in a fast-paced environment o Must be a quick learner and open to feedback
Candidate should be an experienced Project Manager (5 10 years required). Candidates experienced with M&A project management will gain priority. Excellent communications skills and ability to present and interact with senior leadership across the organization, inside and outside of BTS Strong project management skillset needed, including proven ability to lead and drive project success. Should be well organized with the ability to review and track the project schedule end to end. Must be a self-starter, able to manage a variety of projects, and be able to communicate to leadership. Will conduct meetings with project team members and key stakeholders, publishing meeting minutes. Will manage weekly and monthly progress reporting, as well as tracking project financials for budget adherence. Candidate must possess strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills given the high degrees of strategic impact and project complexity, along with potential senior executive interactions. Will work with a matrixed Pharmaceutical client team. Currently there is no expectation of managing Pharmaceutical client vendors. Fully remote acceptable, with expectation candidate will work hours aligned with a Lake County, IL team based in the Central Time Zone. Contract to run from candidates start date through October 28, 2022. Applicants must be U.S.-based and able to work full time. Will execute and deliver in line with below expectations.
Expectations: Develop, execute, and manage project(s) within the defined scope. Lead all aspects of the project lifecycle, working with project sponsors/key stakeholders, team members, and management to oversee all phases of project completion. Build and manage projects work breakdown structure, milestones, risks, issues, and deliverables within the constraints of human and financial resources and changing priorities to ensure the successful completion of the project. Ensure transparent reporting of project status, issues, risks, and financials. The individual will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. Be able to work under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Specific Responsibilities: Drive Project Success and Completion: Understand and drive leadership of the project to success. Build key relationships with stakeholders, mentor team members and demonstrate leadership at all levels. Initiate and Plan Project: Works with business and IT management to establish and gain consensus on project goals, objectives, financials, and deliverables. Project Control: Assess the degree to which changes to scope, issues and risks will affect the project, working with business and IT management and sponsor to gain agreement for resolution. Measure performance to assure the project is progressing as compared to original plan and budget. Executing and Closing Project: Develops and executes a work plan obtaining authorized resources to ensure all activities are performed. Leads team in delivering project scope. Gather lessons learned and obtain final project approval from sponsor and stakeholders. Project Communication: Communicate project progress by producing project reports to provide timely and accurate project status and decision support information to project teams, business, and IT management. Makes recommendations based on current project status to resolve issues and manage risks. Resource and Team Management: Coordinate resources to ensure project needs are addressed and effectively assign tasks and deliverables to team members based upon their abilities. Motivates project team to deliver project outcomes. Quality Management: Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and functional policies and procedures. Decisions: Make decisions that impact project level activities. Drive Continuous Improvement of Project Process and Governance: Will continually examine Plans/Risks/Issues to identify gaps in project communication or process, and holding project team accountable for improvement, to drive proactive solutions as the project is ongoing. Escalate issues that need Permanent Process changes.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with using Clarity PPM. Familiarity with Organization Change Management experience/knowledge. Note: no requirement of a PMP certification for this role. Pharma experience preferred.
