Primary Needs:

          Position will reside within the Innovation, Architecture, and Infrastructure team at Pharmaceutical client.

          This posting is listed and compensated as a Program Manager in the interest of attracting appropriate technical experience & skills needed to fill this actual Senior Project Manager role. Expectation is this role will act in a Senior Project Manager position. This means candidates should not apply expecting to act in a Program Manager role with Project Managers reporting to them. This role will act in a Senior Project Manager position.

          Senior Project Manager needed to run 2 Pharmaceutical client projects dealing with Robotic Process Automation (RPA):

o   Lead the upgrade of our existing instance of Blue Prism 6.6 to the latest version 6.10.2.

o   Integration of RPA/DevOps:

       Provide thought leadership and drive the implementation of a RPA/DevOps integration.

       As part of the integration, help establish the framework and overall standards for agile delivery of automation use cases, leveraging our Pharmaceutical client DevOps platform.

       Implement a small project as a pilot of the integrated solution.

          Candidate should be an experienced (minimum of 10 years experience) Senior Project Manager with prior experience leading RPA projects, and preferably DevOps projects.

          This will be a technical PM role from the perspective of having had prior RPA and DevOps exposure.

          Blue Prism experience is desirable, but not required. Candidate must however have demonstrated experience with RPA functionality and tooling (for example, if not Blue Prism, could be UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Pega, etc.).

          Process optimization experience will be required given the nature of integrating RPA and DevOps.

          Strong project management skillset, highly organized individual, including proven ability to lead and drive project success.

          Effective communication and leadership skills are imperative given the level of project complexities and business impact, as well as the potential for senior executive interactions, associated with this work.

          Will work with a matrixed/cross-functional team of Pharmaceutical client full time and contract staff, onshore and offshore, as well as Pharmaceutical client vendors as projects dictate.

          This individual will be expected to drive projects forward while focusing on financial/budgetary requirements; as such, must possess prior experience with managing project financials.

          Must be a self-starter with attention to detail, possessing a solid work ethic.

          Contract to run from candidates start date through December 31, 2022. Possibility of extension exists into 2023 following proven performance.

          Applicants must be U.S.-based and able to work full time.

          This can be a blended (hybrid) onsite & remote position, with expectation candidate will be available to be onsite in Lake County part-time (3 days per week) and working remote part-time (specific days may fluctuate). DO NOT SUBMIT CANDIDATES UNWILLING OR UNABLE TO BE ONSITE PART OF THE TIME. FULLY REMOTE IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS ROLE.

          Please no candidates that would need to relocate. Candidates must be willing to commute to J41 and work onsite 3 days per week, each week.

          Will execute and deliver in line with below expectations.


Expectations:

          Develop, execute, and manage project(s) within the defined scope.

          Lead all aspects of the project lifecycle, working with project sponsors/key stakeholders, team members, and management to oversee all phases of project completion.

          Build and manage projects work breakdown structure, milestones, risks, issues, and deliverables within the constraints of human and financial resources and changing priorities to ensure the successful completion of the project.

          Ensure transparent reporting of project status, issues, risks, and financials.

          The individual will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

          Performs a variety of tasks.

          May lead and direct the work of others.

          Be able to work under general supervision.

          A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.


Specific Responsibilities:

          Initiate and Plan Project: Works with business and IT management to establish and gain consensus on project goals, objectives, financials, and deliverables.

          Project Control: Assess the degree to which changes to scope, issues and risks will affect the project, working with business and IT management and sponsor to gain agreement for resolution. Measure performance to assure the project is progressing as compared to original plan and budget.

          Executing and Closing Project: Develops and executes a work plan obtaining authorized resources to ensure all activities are performed. Leads team in delivering project scope. Gather lessons learned and obtain final project approval from sponsor and stakeholders.

          Project Communication: Communicate project progress by producing project reports to provide timely and accurate project status and decision support information to project teams, business, and IT management. Makes recommendations based on current project status to resolve issues and manage risks.

          Resource and Team Management: Coordinate resources to ensure project needs are addressed and effectively assign tasks and deliverables to team members based upon their abilities. Motivates project team to deliver project outcomes.

          Quality Management: Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and functional policies and procedures.

          Decisions: Make decisions that impact project level activities.

          PPM Tool experience a must.

Preferred Qualifications:
