The job function includes the following: * Develop, test and integrate software using current software technologies. * Apply software design and development tools and techniques as required. * Investigate in-house instrument issues, determine appropriate corrections, and implement those corrections following our engineering process. * Ensure compliance with the ADD Quality system. . Qualifications * A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or similar engineering discipline including Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering is required. * 2 years of experience developing instrument hardware control applications. * Proficiency with Python2 or Python3 is required. * Knowledge with C/C++. * Experience with multithreading applications. * Experience with QNX6/QNX7 real-time operating system or other real-time or Unix-like operating system. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. .
