Perform upgradation/migration VMware and VMware horizon view Engineering and implementing Active Directory, ,DNS,DHCP, GPO¿s Proficient on VMware technologies like vCenter, Update Manager, HA, DRS, vMotion, svMotion, Template & Cloning, etc. Automate upgradation/migration, remediation, jobs, report tasks by using creating PowerShell CLI script and PowerShell and Batch scripts Drive RCA preparation and meeting SLA for RCA submission along with planning and implementing fixes/patches. Experience providing technical resolution to incident & problem events related to VDI Infrastructure. Mentor and guide junior members and system administrators on any incidents, escalations and issues. Manage the SRM and DR setup and endure the service meets the defined RPO and RTO commitments Oversee environments including planning upgrades, staying on top of EOL dates and documenting inter dependencies Use design skills to determine Technical Design Specifications for complex and high impact projects Create all necessary documentation including system standards, run books, and more Research software solutions to meet our needs and create efficiencies Skills & Requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: ¿ Design and implement in VMware infrastructure, VMware horizon view VDI infrastructure ¿ Strong hands on experience doing POC, production rollout on VMware infrastructure, VMware horizon view VDI infrastructure ¿ Strong knowledge on Active directory, group, policy management ¿ Strong knowledge PowerShell and PowerShell CLI ¿ Good hands on experience in automating upgradation/migration, remediation, jobs, report tasks by using creating PowerShell CLI script and PowerShell and Batch scripts ¿ Good hands on experience on Active directory, DNS, Group policy management ¿ In depth experience in hardware image development and support for ESXi and Windows Server operating systems. ¿ Strong experience with virtual network, storage management and other virtualization related tasks Be the escalation point for VMWare and VDI Windows OS related issues ¿ Installations for security patches, functional patches and version upgrades to vSphere environment. ¿ Proficient on VMware technologies like vCenter, Update Manager, HA, DRS, vMotion, svMotion, Template & Cloning, etc. ¿ Datacenter understanding. ¿ Experience with hardware platforms. ¿ Work on major severity and complex server issues. ¿ Drive RCA preparation and meeting SLA for RCA submission along with planning and implementing fixes/patches. ¿ Performance and capacity management on VMWare servers and complex health check ups. ¿ Perform in 24 x 7 environment and attend calls whenever assigned. ¿ Identify and recommend improvements to existing processes. ¿ Proven experience with VMware 6.X,7X, VMware horizon view, Windows server 2012, 2016 and 2019 administration including server build and patching. ¿ Experience in VMware management, to include vCenter and automated deployment of systems and performance monitoring. ¿ Familiar with the ITIL process.
