What You'll Do The Requirements Engineer supports the collection, analysis, specification, documentation, and continuous management of requirements. RE supports the translation of the solution strategy into a detailed solution design by providing software requirement specifications. Core Job Responsibilities * Supports the Senior Requirements Engineer in his/her execution of Requirements Engineering core tasks and responsibilities * Supports the elicitation and documentation of requirements (e.g. business requirements, stakeholder requirements, external interfaces, constraints, and other nonfunctional requirements) in a standard form (in the DOORS Requirements Management Tool) * Supports the transformation of system requirements into Use Case specifications and breaks down high level feature requirements into functional requirements to an appropriate level of detail suitable for use by Developers and Verification testers * Participates in peer and design reviews of requirements documents * Looks for guidance from more senior colleagues - receives mentoring from Senior Requirement Engineers * Monitors work to ensure quality, and continuously promote quality * Ability to interact and communicate effectively and professionally * Capable of working independently as well as be a good team player Required EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING * 3+ years' experience in requirements management * Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline Preferred * Working knowledge of standard requirements elicitation tools and other software.
