Role: Kafka Admin Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite from Day1) Rate: $60/HR on C2C (MAX) Job Description: * Standing up and administering Kubernetes and Kafka Clusters. * Experience is administering both Apache and Confluent Kafka clusters. * Thorough knowledge of Kafka architecture and its components. * Experience in setting up (installation) and upgrading Kafka Clusters. * Experience in capacity planning and performance tuning of Kafka clusters. * Implemented Kafka Producers/Consumers utilizing Java and other supporting technologies. * Ensure optimum performance, high availability and stability of solutions. * Create topics, setup redundancy cluster, deploy monitoring tools, alerts and has good knowledge of best practices * Monitor and optimize Kafka clusters * Handling customer queries and troubleshoot Kafka related issues. * Work with other big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Storm * Knowledge of tools like Terraform, Ansible, Gitlab, Docker, and Chef. * Good communication and interpersonal skills.
