*Position: Azure Cloud Engineer/Architect* *Location: Washington DC* *Contract: Long Term* *Hybrid Model- Need to be onsite 2 or 3 days in a month* *Look for people around VA, MD, DC, PA or any one who can relocate to this places and be onsite* *Need to have Azure Certification* *Job description* - Lead the design and development of cloud infrastructure and cloud services - Establish architectural standards that enable DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, and automated continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD). - Participate in proofs of concept / technology as needed to ensure optimized architecture and service selections - Work closely with on-premise Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure alignment during migrations - Advise application architects and developers on the design of scalable, highly available, secure application solutions that leverage cloud services - Continuously manage, monitor, and update architecture models as business needs evolve and additional cloud services become available - Provide cloud technical leadership and bring innovative cloud technologies to the enterprise - Utilize cost/benefit models to map architecture choices to business outcomes and associated cost KPIs - Support the transfer of knowledge to the broader IT organization - Translate organizational level business requirements and use cases into infrastructure capabilities - Design solution-independent architecture models that map business services to cloud application stacks - Maintain technical-level relationships with third party product and platform vendors - Participate in optimizing solution architectures to manage costs and identify cost control mechanisms - Participate in business case development and validation (for enterprise level business cloud products/projects) - Develop and manage enterprise cloud governance KPIs and maintain reference architecture model *Competencies * - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent work experience - AWS Solutions Architect – Professional certification within past three years - Solutions architecture experience in an enterprise environment - 10 Years in Solutions architecture experience on the cloud - 5 Years in Specific experience designing, executing and supporting AWS data lakes at scale - 3 Years Experience coding in higher level programming language, Python, Ruby, JSON, etc. - Ability to pass a background check and pass the criteria for a CJIS environment - Willingness to research and self-study to keep technical skills relevant in a highly complex environment - Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines as needed to deliver results - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Mentors and coaches colleagues and seeks opportunities for continuous improvement - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with great attention to detail and accuracy - Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment *Thanks & Regards* *Mohammed Ifthekharuddin* Tel: 703-831-8282 Ext 223 Cell: 323-825-5662 Email: ifthek...@canopyone.com Web: www.canopyone.com <http://canopyone.com/> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to "rtc-linux".
