Leads and Managers Mainstream IV DII3 - Innovation, Architecture, 
Infrastructure -
TPM Firewall Hardening


Primary Needs:

* Position will reside within the Innovation, Architecture, and Infrastructure 
team at Pharmaceutical Client.
* Technical Project Manager:
o Will plan, coordinate, and execute on Infrastructure projects aimed at 
firewall hardening, with the goal of monitoring and filtering incoming and 
outgoing network traffic, based on Pharmaceutical Client's security policies, 
to allow safe traffic and prevent dangerous traffic.
o Over the life of the engagement, there will be a mix of Pharmaceutical Client 
and Legacy Allergan sites in scope. Initially, there will be 12 Pharmaceutical 
Client sites, running through roughly mid-2022, followed by additional Allergan 
sites which will be scheduled out to end of 2022. This means the candidate will 
be expected to lead multiple site implementations in parallel.
o Each site/project will have a similar, but unique design, requiring each 
implementation to submit its own final design. Each of these implementations 
will uniquely balance the needs of the particular site, as well as those of the 
Information Security and Network Infra teams.
o The individual will need to ensure the team is following appropriate 
Pharmaceutical Client IT implementation/change policies throughout the projects.
* Candidate should be an experienced (12+ years required) Technical Project 
Manager with Infrastructure project management experience in firewall hardening 
and Infrastructure lifecycle management.
* Strong project management skillset needed, including proven ability to lead 
and drive project success.
* Should be well organized with the ability to review and track the project 
schedule end to end.
* Provide execution coordination during cutover events, including planned 
sequence tracking, issues/risks, and escalation where required.
* Must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, able to manage a variety of tasks, 
and be able to communicate to leadership.
* Will conduct meetings with project team members and key stakeholders, 
publishing meeting minutes.
* Will manage weekly and monthly progress reporting, as well as tracking 
project financials for budget adherence.
* Strong collaboration and communication skills needed as the individual will 
provide updates and ongoing reporting to both the immediate team and leadership.
* This individual will work with a matrixed Pharmaceutical Client team across 
IAI, Security, and the individual sites, as well as at minimum 2 Pharmaceutical 
Client vendors/managed service providers.
* Contract to run from candidate's start date through 12/31/22.
* This can be a blended (hybrid) onsite & remote position, with expectation 
candidate will be available to be onsite in Lake County part-time (3 days per 
week) and working remote part-time (specific days may fluctuate). DO
* Please no candidates that would need to relocate. Candidates must be willing 
to commute to J41 and work onsite 3 days per week, each week.
* Applicants must be U.S.-based and able to work full time.
* Will execute and deliver in line with below expectations.


Expectations:

* Develop, execute, and manage project(s) within the defined scope.
* Lead all aspects of the project lifecycle, working with project sponsors/key 
stakeholders, team members, and management to oversee all phases of project 
completion.
* Build and manage project's work breakdown structure, milestones, risks, 
issues, and deliverables within the constraints of human and financial 
resources and changing priorities to ensure the successful completion of the 
project.
* Ensure transparent reporting of project status, issues, risks, and financials.
* The individual will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish 
goals.
* Performs a variety of tasks.
* May lead and direct the work of others.
* Be able to work under general supervision.
* A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Specific Responsibilities:

* Drive Project Success and Completion: Understand and drive leadership of the 
project to success. Build key relationships with stakeholders, mentor team 
members and demonstrate leadership at all levels.
* Initiate and Plan Project: Works with business and IT management to establish 
and gain consensus on project goals, objectives, financials, and deliverables.
* Project Control: Assess the degree to which changes to scope, issues and 
risks will affect the project, working with business and IT management and 
sponsor to gain agreement for resolution. Measure performance to assure the 
project is progressing as compared to original plan and budget.
* Executing and Closing Project: Develops and executes a work plan obtaining 
authorized resources to ensure all activities are performed. Leads team in 
delivering project scope. Gather lessons learned and obtain final project 
approval from sponsor and stakeholders.
* Project Communication: Communicate project progress by producing project 
reports to provide timely and accurate project status and decision support 
information to project teams, business, and IT management. Makes 
recommendations based on current project status to resolve issues and manage 
risks.
* Resource and Team Management: Coordinate resources to ensure project needs 
are addressed and effectively assign tasks and deliverables to team members 
based upon their abilities. Motivates project team to deliver project outcomes.
* Quality Management: Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and 
functional policies and procedures.
* Decisions: Make decisions that impact project level activities.
* Drive Continuous Improvement of Project Process and Governance: Will 
continually examine Plans/Risks/Issues to identify gaps in project 
communication or process, and holding project team accountable for improvement, 
to drive proactive solutions as the project is ongoing. Escalate issues that 
need Permanent Process changes.


Qualifications:
