Not that I know of. I have not tested it. If gdb-7.7 builds we should switch. We should also switch binutils to the latest. I am currently using them with the Altera gcc because the older ones failed to build on FreeBSD 10. I seem to remember Sebastian saying something about NIOS support being gcc-4.9 which is close. I have not used it.
