get any output?
Did you try removing the this ?
I remember there being issues with serial ports on different hosts.\ but
I cannot remember what it was.

This command works and is what the sim-scripts
use:
qemu-system-arm -no-reboot -net none -nographic -M real-bash-4.2$
qemu-system-arm -no-reboot -net none -nographic -M realview-pbx-a9 -m
256M -kernel
./arm-rtems4.11/c/realview_pbx_a9_qemu/testsuites/samples/hello/hello.exe
