I have pushed a fix that I hope fixes your build. I however cannot build
this package on my recent MacOS because the cc has errors. I need to
look into this.
I know on FreeBSD which is also on clang, the old binutils does not
build as a 32bit app so I think we need to move to the latest binutils.
I have a separate set up working this way and it seems fine.
