I like Jim & Nicks. Not the best but pretty darn good. Ate at the one on Hwy
11 at I-459 in what used to be called Roebuck Plaza back in July.

I've been gone from B'ham way too long so riddle me this: What is the name
of the BBQ place on 1st Ave in East Lake just east of Porno Row? Small place
on the north side of the road. Next door to a bank, I think. Johnny's maybe?

My only Corky's experience was at the Memphis Airport about 18 months ago. I
wasn't the least bit impressed. If I had to guess, the meat was prepared
off-site, refrigerated, reheated, etc. Surely the restaurant version is
better.

The barbecued pork pig served at Bryant-Denny (Jim & Nick's) is rather good.
A sandwich will run you about $4.50. And it is piled high with pulled pork.
I'm sure Jim & Nick's will be available at Lesion Field for the USM game.
Try it! You'll like it!

Have I ever told you that I miss Lewis Grizzard?

Roll Tide!!
