I like Atlanta; however, I would like it much better with
about a million less yankees. I remember what Atlanta was
like before the massive yankee influx and prefer that time.
Though possibly unrelated, the quality of barbeque has also
diminished during the past 15 years. I believed Spiced
Right is even cooking with charcoal now, and several good
places have gone out of business or become so generic as
to be useless.

BTW, it isn't just Atlanta. Yankeefication is happening
all across the South. I blame the lax border control under
Clinton (I threw that in for Slef and Javvy's enjoyment).
The last time I crossed Mason's Dixie Line, they were not
even checking IDs.

A Southerner's worst nightmare is a yankee heading South
in a U-Haul truck.
