Zow has always heard praise from his coach, a perfectionist who likes
Zow�s competitive spirit but often bemoans his lack of perfect execution
in practice. That praise was never louder than last week when Zow not
only passed and ran his team past the Tigers, but also threw several
crucial blocks on the corners. 

�That wasn�t planned,� Zow said. �I think I just tried to do that to
help my
team out. The running backs have been running so well, every time they
get a small, little block they can take it the distance. I had been
getting
hit all game, so I think I can deliver something.� 

He said he never heard a word from his coach, despite the fact that he
had only a former walk-on as his backup if he injured himself throwing
blocks. [...]
