The order of picking can be vague at times in the SEC. Of course, it's possible that another conference could be unable to fill its allotment of bowls, and the bowl may pick a team from the SEC instead. Possibilities I've heard include the Tide getting a bid to the Las Vegas Bowl or the Tangerine Bowl, which have tie-ins to the Pac 10 and Big East/ACC.
