[One couldn't help but notice that Malone isn't qualified.... At any rate,
the future of the BAMA backfield appears to be extremely promising. Galloway
has another year left. Beered (hopefully) has two years remaining. Then
we've got Marquez Dupree waiting in the wings, as well as the transfer from
.....somewhere in Texas.......Shaud Williams? And one of these days Ray
Hudson is going make a name for himSlef. Donnie Lowe is *THE MAN* at FB.
Marvin Brown gives us depth at FB.]

Just my two (or three) cents worth...first, Malone will be a sign-and-place.
We'll see if he ever ends up in Crimson. I hope he does and wish him all
the success in the world. He's a great kid. We're trying to get away from
recruiting borderline academic cases, but CM is an exception we had to make.
Great kid, bad grade situation, tremendous athlete. Just read that article.
:-) I've seen him in person a lot...he's special.

Dupree will be a fullback next year...or a DB. (I'd peg it at 80% chance of
FB, 20% DB...0% RB.)

Marvin Brown will not be with the team next year.

Darby is going to be great--but there exists a chance (about 25% or so right
now) that he will end up at LB, depending on how the RB picture develops
(get it? That's funny. :-)).

Williams has potential, but that's just a Latin word for "haven't done it
yet."

We are still in the running for Wynn, who's going to be all-World
somewhere--hopefully at UA.

You heard it here first. But, yes, our situation at RB looks good for the
next few years.

Very good.
