Alabama special teams coach Dave Ungerer says Alabama's got the talent to put a good kicking game on the field. He just doesn't know who will be doing the kicking.
Several players are battling to fill the Crimson Tide placekicking and punting jobs before the season begins August 30th against South Florida. Junior right-footer Brian Bostick and left-footed senior Kyle Robinson are the favorites for placekicking duties. But senior Gabe Giardina and freshman Jamie Christensen are emerging as strong challengers.
