It has been made quite apparant that there are those people/forces in this state that have no regard whatsoever for the standing/reputation, or perception of our state and peoples in the eyes of the rest of the country or world. They could care less. Yet, they want to look around for blame targets when Alabama is made a mockery of, loses that manufacturing plant looking to be built, or they go out of state and are treated as if they are stupid, just because they come from "Alabama-er".
Butt, Ron, I have to give the State Supremes their due for overruling the Most Pious & Right Reverend Moore. They have correctly, if not belatedly done the right thing and publicly spoke the right reason for it. Did nobody read the parable in the Bible about the Pharisee who prayed out loud on the street corner so that everyone would think what a righteous man he was????? I don't see Jesus condoning Moore in any way. Jesus made numerous references to subjugating oneslef to the rule of law. "Render unto Ceasar, that which is Ceasar's., etc..
